First let us say how
much we appreciate you asking the question. We understand that who we
say we are proves nothing, but we can demonstrate that it is our
intention to be nothing more or less than Christians. As a congregation,
we study closely and exclusively respect the New Testament as our
authority in all we do. It is our foremost desire to be the church that
Christ suffered and died to establish, and we believe that the only way
we can be claimed by Christ is to pattern ourselves after the examples
of the church of the New Testament and respond to the commands that were
given to those collections of Christians as if they were directed at us.
We call ourselves the church of Christ not as a denominational title,
but as a reminder to ourselves of whose authority we are under, and who
paid the price for our existence. Romans 16:16- "The churches of
Christ salute you."
If there is any way we, the church of
Christ on Dibble Road can assist you in becoming a Christian, please let
us know how we can help you. We can be reached by phone or
e-mail, or feel free to visit us. We
sincerely hope to hear from you. |
